Meet the Physician Assistant

John Stallman, P.A.
John Stallman, PhD, PA-C, is an integral part of the otolaryngology team at Family ENT in Kittery, Maine, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. John joined the team in April 2019 after practicing otolaryngology for thirteen years at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Southern New Hampshire.
John received his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2005, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
John has experience working with all ages and has expertise in treating a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions. He prides himself on building solid patient rapport and providing thorough and efficient care in collaboration with the wonderful physicians at Family ENT.
Prior to becoming a physician assistant, John began his professional career as a chemist working for Dow Chemical to develop intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Vermont, a doctorate in synthetic organic chemistry, and a post-doctorate in polymer science from Pennsylvania State University.
Outside of work, John can be found riding his bike along the coastal roads of New Hampshire and Maine, enjoying the beauty of the ocean in his kayak, or hiking the 4,000 footers of the White Mountains.
